Which coach calls where, where the breaks are and how boarding at an intermediate stop works: the stop order on our two long-distance routes.

The route of our Istanbul services

"Does this coach go through my town?" is one of the questions we are asked most often about our long routes. Didim Seyahat's Ankara and Istanbul routes call at many places between the cities at either end. Below you will find the stop order of both routes, where the breaks are and how boarding at an intermediate stop works.

The Ankara Route: Didim – Soke – Aydin – Denizli – Ankara

The coach to Ankara departs from Didim, calls at Soke, Aydin and Denizli in that order, takes a break at the Istiklal Rest Area and completes its journey in Ankara. On the way back the order is reversed: the coach leaving Ankara reaches Didim via Denizli, Aydin and Soke.

This arrangement also means you can buy tickets between the cities along the route. The main ones are Aydin – Ankara, Denizli – Ankara, Soke – Ankara and Didim – Denizli. Current times and free seats are shown on each route page.

The Istanbul Route: Didim – Soke – Kusadasi – Selcuk – Izmir – Gebze – Istanbul

The coach to Istanbul departs from Didim and calls at Soke, Kusadasi, Selcuk and Izmir; it takes a break at the Karagul Rest Area and then continues via Gebze to Istanbul. On the Istanbul side there are three separate drop-off points: Dudullu (Asian side), Alibeykoy and Esenler (European side). On the way back the coach departs from Istanbul and uses the same points in reverse order.

Thanks to this route, tickets are also sold between the stops in between, such as Kusadasi – Istanbul, Selcuk – Istanbul, Soke – Istanbul, Izmir – Istanbul and Izmir – Gebze. If you are going to Istanbul, choosing where to get off according to your address in the city shortens your total journey time.

Boarding at an intermediate stopWhen you buy your ticket, choose your own town as the departure point; the boarding points at that stop are then listed on screen. The journey details show every stop the coach calls at, together with the times.

Useful Notes on Long Routes

  • Departure times at intermediate stops fall a few hours after the coach's first departure; the time on your ticket is your boarding time.
  • The location and length of the break can vary with the route and road conditions.
  • On night routes, the lights inside the coach are kept dimmed while passengers board at intermediate stops.
  • When you hand over your luggage at an intermediate stop, tell the attendant your destination again.
  • Departure times can be updated with the seasons; check the route page before you travel.
